Agreement to Terms

By engaging Mamur Inc. for moving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Description

Mamur Inc. provides professional moving services including residential and commercial moves, packing and unpacking, furniture disassembly and assembly, and long-distance relocations. The specific services, pricing, and timeline will be agreed upon in writing before the move begins.

Booking and Payment

  • A deposit may be required to secure your moving date
  • Final payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed
  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking
  • Prices are based on the information provided; significant changes may affect the final cost
  • All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided

Customer Responsibilities

As our customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about items to be moved
  • Ensure access to both pickup and delivery locations
  • Disclose any items requiring special handling or hazardous materials
  • Be present or have a representative present during the move
  • Inform us of any access restrictions, parking limitations, or building requirements

Liability and Insurance

Mamur Inc. takes every precaution to ensure the safe transport of your belongings. Our liability coverage includes:

  • Basic liability coverage included with all moves
  • Additional insurance options available upon request
  • Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or items improperly packed by the customer

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or reschedule your move with at least 48 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move may be subject to a cancellation fee. Weather-related postponements will be accommodated at no additional charge.

Prohibited Items

We cannot transport the following items:

  • Hazardous materials, explosives, or flammable substances
  • Illegal items or controlled substances
  • Perishable goods without prior arrangement
  • Valuable documents, cash, or jewelry (recommended for personal transport)
  • Live plants or animals

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through direct communication with our management team. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with Illinois state law.
